The Actors Life Organization Co. (T.A.L.O.) was established in 2024 by Amondre Oglesby, professionally known as Amondre D. Jackson. With over a decade of experience as an actor, writer, and filmmaker, Amondre recognized a critical gap in the industry—helping actors pursue their dreams without financial compromise. Amondre holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management & Leadership, graduating Summa Cum Laude, and an MBA in Human Resource Management. His academic excellence is further reflected in his memberships with the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) and the Delta Mu Delta Business Honor Society.

In the entertainment industry, Amondre is most known for his supporting role in One Night in Miami and for developing the television spec pilots Sales and The Deets. His dedication to both the creative and business aspects of the industry continues to drive his mission of ensuring the well-being and advancement of actors and empowering them through T.A.L.O.

Aisha Walker

Aisha Walker is a dynamic and accomplished leader with over 15 years of leadership experience. She holds a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies (BIS) in Organizational Communication and an MBA with a specialization in Human Resource Management.

Aisha is a proud member of the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) and is deeply committed to advancing our mission. With a passion for leadership development and organizational excellence, she continues to make a meaningful impact in her field.

Bria Brimmer

Chief Development Officer

Bria Brimmer is a talented and accomplished actress with nearly a decade of experience in the entertainment industry. Her notable credits include Wolf Pack, Bad Boys 4, and Juror #2. In addition to her work in film and television, Bria has appeared in national commercials for brands such as Popeyes and more. Beyond her acting career, Bria holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in finance, bringing a strong financial acumen to The Actors Life Organization (T.A.L.O.). Her expertise and dedication make her an invaluable asset in supporting T.A.L.O.'s mission.

Canecia Gordon

Canecia Gordon is a seasoned actress with extensive experience in the entertainment industry. Her notable credits include Will Trent and Atlanta, Gross Pointe Garden Society, and more, showcasing her versatility and talent on screen. In addition to her acting career, Canecia holds a bachelor’s degree in biology, bringing a unique perspective and diverse expertise to The Actors Life Organization (T.A.L.O.). Her dedication and skill make her a valuable asset to the organization and its mission.

Rafael is a dynamic and innovative actor who brings a wealth of creativity, business insight, and event planning expertise to The Actors Life Organization (T.A.L.O.). His bright personality and strategic mindset contribute to the organization's growth and impact. As a rising talent in the industry, Rafael offers valuable perspective and guidance to new actors, drawing from his own journey in the entertainment world. In just a couple of years, he has already built an impressive portfolio, appearing in commercials for Kingsford BBQ, BrandsMart, Microsoft Copilot, and more. His passion for both the craft and business of acting makes him a vital asset to T.A.L.O.’s mission. 

Joi Whitley

Co-Treasurer & Administrative Officer

Joi Whitley is a seasoned entrepreneur and dedicated professional with a deep passion for numbers, calculations, and empowering others through financial education. She holds a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies from Arizona State University (2007-2012) and an MBA from Grand Canyon University (2014).

In 2012, Joi founded Anointed Hands Tax II Inc. She has since built a thriving business offering various services, including tax preparation, accounting, bookkeeping, and small business startup assistance for clients nationwide.  Her commitment to giving back is evident in her service on the boards of four nonprofit organizations.

Eric Merriweather

Advisor & Nonprofit Consultant

Dr. Eric Merriweather is a distinguished professional actor, entrepreneur, and elite athlete, recognized as a Masters Olympic Gold Medalist and Masters World Champion in Track and Field. With a career spanning both the nonprofit and entertainment industries, he brings a unique blend of expertise that strengthens The Actors Life Organization (T.A.L.O.).

For nearly 25 years, Dr. Merriweather has owned and operated The African American Association of the USA, demonstrating his deep commitment to community service and organizational leadership. His extensive knowledge of nonprofit management, combined with his experience in the acting industry, makes him an invaluable asset to T.A.L.O., ensuring the organization stays on the right path toward achieving its mission.

Dr. Merriweather holds an Honorary Doctorate in Philosophy from Trinity International University of Ambassadors and is a recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award from President Barack Obama, recognizing his outstanding contributions to society.
