As an Information Specialist, you will be responsible for collecting, maintaining, and communicating company information. You will also be responsible for all administrative assistant and data statistic tasks as described below. Pays $16 per hour at 25 hours per week, which equates to $800 bi-weekly.
Responsibilities
- You’ll conduct surveys to create key performance indicators (KPIs) based on feedback from actors, clients, partners, and industry guests. We will use your data to make informed business decisions.
- You will act as an executive assistant and handle all administrative tasks, keep track of company data, and handle requests or delegated tasks presented by any board member.
- You’ll respond to emails using the provided templates. If a template is not available for the situation presented, you will communicate with exceptional grammar and professionalism. You will use TALO’s Knowledge bank to find templates and answers to all questions. If you cannot find the answer, you may contact the CEO.
- You will act as a member of our response team, and communicate with students who are attending class, and potential students who sign up for class or to audit. As a response team member, you will also respond to applications for aid using the templates provided.
- You’ll collect the required documentation from applicants and review the information to ensure that it meets our requirements. If you determine that an application should be approved, you’ll send the file to the CEO for a decision. If the file doesn’t meet our requirements to be granted aid, you’ll send a denial template that matches the reason for denial.
- You will use our CRM system, “Monday” to maintain and update information for all of our functional areas.
- You will resolve issues or concerns promptly and effectively. You will partner with leadership as needed.
- You will attend company meetings to be informed of what’s going on, and to share data you’ve collected as well as information to help us make informed business decisions.
- You’ll search for information going on in the acting community to keep TALO up-to-date on events, workshops, industry news, community events, networking opportunities, and any other industry information that TALO can spread to its followers and supporters to keep them in the know.
- You’ll manage our website and our email marketing system. You’ll make updates to our website as directed and send marketing emails regularly to our subscribers.
- You create content to post using Canva and keep our social media accounts active and updated with pertinent information.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Bachelors degree in a data-related field (preferred).
- Passed statistics and/or data analysis class (preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative role.
