WELCOME TO OUR AFFORDABLE EDUCATION PROGRAM

Our Standard Student Membership fee is $100 per month. Our Student Plus Membership fee is $200 per month. Membership fees are due on the 1st of each month. We understand that rent and other expenses may make this timing difficult, so T.A.L.O. offers a 15-day grace period for payment. Any payments made after the 15th will incur a flat late fee of $50; failure to remit full payment, plus the late fee, by the 18th of the month will result in a temporary 3-month suspension.

Classes are (NOT) à la carte. TALO does not accept partial or per-class payments from students who are already enrolled. You must pay your full membership fee. You may make up in another class if you need to miss your home-based class. Only new students who sign up in the middle of the month may pay $25 per class for however many of their home-based classes are left in the month after signing up. If a new student signs up for the plus membership, they'll be required to pay $100, plus $25 for however many of their home-based classes are left in the month. If you sign up to start classes, you’ll always start in the very next class unless you tell us otherwise. For example, if you audit the first Wednesday of the month, you will pay $75 for the next three Wednesdays at $25 per week. If there are 5 Wednesdays, you’ll pay $100; and again, if you're on a plus membership, you'll add $100 to that amount.

If you are a T.A.L.O. student facing severe financial hardship, you may apply for assistance through our Survive & Thrive program before the first class begins in the month for which you'd like assistance. This program provides a one-time payment to cover your membership fee, once per year.

Excessive lateness, failure to pay late fees, or attending a class and then determining you can't pay for the month will result in a 3-month suspension.

You are required to respond to our monthly roster status check email. If you respond as active for the month, your monthly membership fee is due in full regardless of your attendance. You are responsible for making up missed classes. You may choose not to make up a missed class, but you will still be due for the full payment.

Leaving early is only permitted if you have informed us in advance of an emergency or a prior booking. This is also the only acceptable reason to miss class. Taking your craft seriously means prioritizing your training and attending class regularly.

If you miss more than two consecutive months, you will be removed from the roster and must reapply to see if space is available for re-enrollment.

You must notify your instructor that you are going to miss class. We do not allow no-call-no-shows. You must also notify your instructor if you’re taking the month off.

Punctuality is essential. Given the traffic challenges in Atlanta, we understand delays can happen, but it’s important to plan ahead and allow extra time to ensure you arrive on time. 

The doors will be locked 10 minutes after class begins, and no one will be allowed to enter after that time.

Please refrain from walking around or talking while actors are performing. Also, avoid speaking while the coach is providing feedback on a performance.

Phone use is only permitted for note-taking purposes during class. Phones must be on silent with no vibration. You may not use phones or any other electronic devices during class.

Respect for your classmates and coaches is a must at all times. Any form of disrespect or harassment will not be tolerated.

Take your craft seriously or consider other options. Regularly missing class or being absent every other month demonstrates a lack of commitment and suggests that your career is not a priority. Make the decision to fully dedicate yourself to this path and follow through, even on the challenging days.

Please let your coach know in advance if you have an audition to tape after class. They shouldn’t find out when you arrive for class, or when class is over.
